Concept To Prototype Services:-

CarbonNano designs hardware, software, mechanical or a combination of all 3, everything you need to bring your product to a functional prototype.

We offer full concept to prototype design services, whereby we will design your PCBs, software/firmware and mechanical parts for you. We will provide functional prototypes that have working PCBs, and SLA/SLS mechanical part models including perhaps prototype metal parts also.

 

Prototype To Production Services:-

Once you are happy with your prototype design, CarbonNano can also offer a manufacturing introduction service, however once in volume manufacturing, you are going to need to support your designs

Most companies at this stage prefer to design their own Test Equipment and instigate their own Tooling etc.

 

Designed For Manufacturing And Certification:-

All CarbonNano prototypes are designed for manufacturing and UKCA/CE and ATEX compliance. CarbonNano can offer informal UKCA/CE test results of prototypes that can be used for UKCA/CE and ATEX Self Certification as required.

All Mechanical parts are designed with Production Tooling in mind, ensuring any necessary drafting and aiming to have the least complicated Tool.

 

Minimise Cost!

In order to minimise the cost of our design services and your ongoing costs, we use CAD Systems that are available for free. In this way, you do not need to purchase PCB or Mechanical Design software.

Once CarbonNano has designed your prototype, you can edit the PCB designs yourself at no cost. PCB Design Software provides Gerber files and is ODB++ compatible to set up manufacturing equipment if required.

You can also edit any Mechanical parts designed and create STL files for 3D Printing for free. If the Tooling option is purchased then IGES and STEP files etc. can also be created to enable Tooling manufacture. If the Mechanical Drawing package is purchased, then you can also manage fully detailed drawings of all your parts.

Design Spark Is Free!

CarbonNano uses both DesignSpark PCB CAD software and also DesignSpark Mechanical Software. These CAD Design software packages are provided free by RS and Allied. Click on the images to find out more information.
